YMCA HEALTHY KIDS DAY 2017

Join us for the 9th Annual YMCA Healthy Kids Day, on Saturday, April 8, 2017, 9 am to 2 pm, at the Bishop Museum - a free event for Kama'aina and Military families with valid ID.

Free parking is available at the Bishop Museum, Kapalama Elementary School and Farrington High School.

Be sure to bring your refillable water bottles! Kokua Hawaii Foundation will offer their free fresh water filling station to keep everyone hydrated and our environment plastic free!

YMCA Healthy Kids Day features 40+ community partners offering a variety of hands on activities, games, fitness challenges, health screenings and demonstrations along with non-stop entertainment and delicious food and snacks. Your free ticket also includes admissio to all Bishop Museums exhibits, Planetarium and Science Center!

YMCA Healthy Kids Day is also a great time to get a jump start on registration for summer programs like day camp, overnight camp, youth sports, teen programs, swim lessons and family fitness memberships - speical offers will be availble at the event.

New this year will be a focus on outdoor environmental volunteer activities for the whole family. A variety of environmental organizations will be offering information on how youth and families can get outdoors for recreation, to learn about nature through exploration and have opportunities to protect and enhance our local natural spaces through volunteer services.

The newly enhanced Conservation Connections website (www.conservationconnections.org) will be launched that offers a one-stop connection for youth, families and educators to outdoor environmental activities and volunteer opportunities.
