The Lelekamanu Maui Educator will contribute to the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of Lelekamanu Program classes, and activities on Maui for the purpose of teaching students, educators and the community to respect, understand, appreciate, and be responsible stewards of the ʻāina.

STATUS: Part-time: 20 hours/week; includes a monthly staff meeting on Oahu

Required Job Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Hawaiian or Pacific Studies; or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science, Biological Science, Natural Science or related field.


  1. Good oral and written communication skills
  2. Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds
  3. Hawai‘i driver’s license, current automobile insurance and daily access to an automobile
  4. Ability to design document layout
