Admin Volunteer Position Description

Kalaeloa Heritage and Legacy Foundation

 

Do you have a passion for preserving and protecting the historical, cultural, and archaeological landscape of Kalaeloa? Are you great with at keeping track of things?  Do you enjoy working on administrative projects?

 

The Kalaeloa Heritage and Legacy Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit, offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience a vast ancient cultural landscape spread across 11 acres through site tours and community workdays and is  seeking an Admin volunteer.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Commit to at least 15 hours per week between 9am to 5pm
  • Answer phones, attend meetings and take notes
  • Filing, data entry and office organization
  • Coordinate community work days and volunteers

 

Preferred candidates will have:

 

Experience working in an office, interest in native Hawaiian history and culture, strong attention to detail, proactive and self-motivated with ability to “think on one’s feet”, friendly and professional, work well with others, respect and maintain confidentiality of Kalaeloa Heritage and Legacy Foundation volunteers, partners, and donors as well as have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
