Waimea Valley Native Forest Restoration
Sunday, May 25, 2014 from 9:00am - 3:00pm
Waimea Valley, North Shore, O`ahu
Waimea Valley's mission is to preserve and perpetuate the human, cultural, and natural resources of Waimea for generations through education and stewardship.
Waimea's staff leads approximately 3 volunteer trips per month into our mauka restoration sites to conduct invasive weed control, native out-plantings, trail maintenance, and native seed collection. In the last 3 years, Waimea staff and volunteers have planted nearly 20,000 native plants. We are starting to see amazing results in our efforts to malama this beautiful and historic place. Please join in when you can and be a part of a large group working towards restoring a forest and having a great time.
Please contact Laurent Pool at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 638-5877 to sign up.
