The Maui Bird Conservation Center is seeking a full time, permanent staff member to help care for Hawaiian birds in Olinda, Maui.

This position is perfect for a recent college graduate. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply! 

The successful candidate will enjoy working outside and taking care of animals. Daily responsibilities include maintaining facilities, preparing bird food, cleaning bird cages, observing and recording behaviors, and assisting with veterinary care.

Qualifications include: a college degree; practical skills useful for facility maintenance; color vision to identify color leg bands on birds; and a passion for helping save Hawaiian plants and animals!

This is a permanent position with an excellent benefits package that includes medical, dental, prescription drugs, vision, life insurance, annual leave, sick leave, retirement, as well as other optional insurance.
