Assist in the planning and implementation of wildlife censuses and surveys and in planning multifaceted wildlife studies by contributing ideas, determining research methods, establishing practical procedures and determining needs such as costs, equipment and personnel. Monitor and assist in control of wildlife, eradication of invasive ant species (Yellow Crazy Ant), plant disease outbreaks, pest plant/animal, control moving/seeding activities and vegetation removal. Apply visual and radio tags to gather physiological and spatial data on wildlife. Monitor elements of the physical environment, including temperature, precipitation, wind speed and humidity. Develop databases and use standard statistical methods and procedures to analyze data used in the preparation of wildlife and other biological reports. Organize and accompany deploying field camps to remote locations which requires time at sea and being away from home for periods of up to 2 weeks twice a year.
