This position administers the statewide multiple-use program of forestry management and the statewide wildlife programs and performs other related duties as assigned. The Forestry and Wildlife Administrator is in involved with the overall responsibility for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating a statewide multiple-use forestry and wildlife program involving the management, development, maintenance, research and propagation of the forests and wildlife resources. Included in this program are State and privately-owned forest and watershed areas, public hunting areas, game management areas, wildlife sanctuaries and plant sanctuaries.
