Pacific Island Inventory & Monitoring Network is partnering with the Scientists In Parks (SIP) Program. We are recruiting three interns to assist with our 2021 vegetation monitoring season. The interns will assist with backcountry vegetation monitoring within the wet forest plant communities in Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park.  

The tentative start date is 05/03/2021 and will continue for 36 weeks. Living allowance is $400/week and housing will be provided at no cost to the participant.  

Applications accepted now. 

Applicants must be U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident between the ages of 18-30 years old, or veterans up to age 35.
