To reduce the risk of Covid, we recommend that everyone who visits here wears a mask in high traffic areas, when you are indoors and if you are not vaccinated, but as we are following state guidelines we do not require masks to be worn. We are also no longer requiring proof of vaccination to be shown for volunteers. We truly appreciate you being part of the effort to reduce the risks faced by our staff, visitors, volunteers and local community. As long as the Covid situation remains steady, we can continue with this current system, but some flexibility might be needed. If there are any cancellations or changes to the group size etc., I will send out an update to the volunteers. I appreciate your willingness to work with the uncertain nature of planning because we truly need the volunteers help here. We thrive with all of your help and aloha.

Our staff is limited so every extra hand counts. The help from the community allows us to have a greater positive impact on the survival rates of the rare and endangered plants and animals that reside here. We need the help to protect these creatures, This also gives us the chance to educate the participants so that they can take these efforts to their own homes and spread the positive benefits of the work.
