Is it time to experience something different? Do you have a love for the outdoors, wildlife, and people?
Volunteering at Keālia Pond National Wildlife Refuge might be just the opportunity for you.
We offer a unique wetland environment teeming with birds, insects, and plants; hands-on learning opportunities, and meaningful experiences.
Volunteer opportunities include: Visitor Center docents, Keālia Coastal Boardwalk docents, Sea Turtle Monitoring Program (seasonal, time commitment), Wetland Habitat Restoration (native plant restoration and removal of invasive plants), and Maintenance projects.
We are looking for volunteers who can serve a minimum of three hours a week. Refuge staff will provide the necessary training and equipment. All you need to provide are time and enthusiasm. We look forward to talking with you about our volunteer program. Please call Courtney Brown, Visitor Services Manager at 808-875-1582 for more information.
